Dr. Priti Srinivas Sajja (b.1970) is a full time Professor and Head of the Post Graduate Department of Computer Science, Sardar Patel University, India. She received her M.S. (1993) and Ph.D. (2000) in Computer Science from the Sardar Patel University and has been working with the Department since 1994. She specialises in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Systems Analysis & Design.
She has authored Illustrated Computational Intelligence (Springer, 2020) and Essence of Systems Analysis and Design (Springer, 2017) published in Singapore and co-authored Intelligent Techniques for Data Science (Springer, 2016); Intelligent Technologies for Web Applications (CRC, 2012) and Knowledge-Based Systems (J&B, 2009) published at Switzerland and USA, and four other books published in India. She has produced 240 publications in books, book chapters, journals, and in the proceedings of national and international conferences out of which ten publications have won best research paper awards.
She has served as Principal Investigator of a major research project funded by the University Grants Commission, India and as a member of a Indo-Russian Joint Research Project. She serves as a member in the editorial board of many international science journals and served as a program committee member for various international conferences. She is a recipient of the Sardar Patel Research Award thrice successively. Further, she has been conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development for her indomitable academic services and scholarly activities in the field of Artificial Intelligence & Knowledge-Based Systems. Under her guidance, eight scholars have completed their doctoral degrees, while six candidates are pursuing their research.
